Above the Plenum and Ceiling Tiles

Videofied is used to protect the area above the plenum in certain applications to prevent thieves from cutting holes in the roof and dropping down into the facility.  In this bank, rodents had been causing the old system to trip and give a false alarm; law enforcement would have to go to the bank and lift up the ceiling tiles to verify that nobody was above the plenum.  Each time this happened the bank was fined hundreds of dollars. Videofied solved the problem and law enforcement were not dispatched to look for rodents above the plenum.

This video of an intrusion at night demonstrate the difficulty of actually identifying intruders using video.  The youths anticipate video surveillance cameras and do their best to hide their faces from possible cameras.

Cell Tower Thief

This thief broke into the shelter at the bottom of a cell tower to steal copper.  The damage caused was thousands of dollars for a couple hundred dollars of copper.  Police were dispatched and he was apprehended.

Office Burglary

This video shows the break-in of an office building by two intruders.  Videofied immediately informs the Central Station of the intrusion for immediate dispatch.  Office managers and property owners are notified and can even view the video themselves to determine what response options to pursue.

Cell Tower Copper Theft

This person was attempting to steal copper grounding bars mounted to the shelter at the bottom of a cell tower.  Even though it is very dark, central station operators clearly see the event and dispatched police.  Another apprehension.

Fenced Perimeter

Videofied MotionViewer enhance CCTV cameras and acts as remote sentries to detect/notify.  A construction worker entered a secured area and was apprehended. .

Construction Theft

Apprehension of thieves that were dismantling the sprinkler system in a vacant retail building.  Siren was kept silent to keep thieves unaware that they had been detected and facilitate apprehension.

This is a thief sneaking into a substation to steal the grounding bars from transformers.  He was detected.  Police were dispatched.  He was apprehended.

Office - False alarm

In this case, the cleaning personnel did not do it.  They may have tripped the alarm system but they were cleaning and not stealing.

Outdoor Protection at -20°C

Videofied outdoor protection secures remote assets in harsh environments.  This video shows a person that has climbed on a rooftop of a large commercial building and approaching the HVAC system.  While most climates are not this severe, Videofied is capable of protecting remote asserts in harsh environments.

Theft of Commercial HVAC

Apprehension of two individuals working on stealing a large commercial HVAC unit that was outdoors.

Storm Apprehension

At night in a raging storm a thief steals cables.  The security director of this utility had installed CCTV cameras using pixel-based detection to protect this equipment yard.  Unfortunately, during thunderstorms the CCTV pixel-detection generated so many false events that they needed to be disabled.  The thieves somehow learned that the cameras were turned off and would steal every time their was a storm.  Videofied was installed to supplement the CCTV system because the PIR detection on the MotionViewer detected intrusions in rain and snow.  This video shows a thief pulling a large cable out of the yard from right to left at the top of the clip.  Thanks to Videofied®, he was caught and the gang was apprehended.
